The content of base metals in ore deposits is getting lower. Therefore, preparation processes are improved and the ores are finely grounded to achieve the highest possible yield. This increases the demands on the filtration technologies, as increasingly fine and very fine suspensions must be filtered.

BoVac Disc and BoHiBar Disc Filters master these challenges and deliver the best results in the dewatering of fine-grained and coarse-grained concentrates: high specific throughputs, adjustable final dryness, clear filtrates, economical and resource-saving operation.

If very low residual moisture of the concentrate is required, steam pressure filtration is performed on BoHiBar Disc filters. This unique process is the most economical choice for achieving particularly dry concentrates. In this case, thermal drying can be omitted.
